Hi Wentworth Families!
We had our kick off today for our Spring Whole School Fundraiser, the Read a Thon.
Students will be bringing home their reader information so that they can create their reader page for accepting donations. They also will have a paper with activities, rewards, and incentives listed.
NEW FOR THIS YEAR: Each year our donation collected are used to purchase instructional materials. While this is still true, for the first time, FIFTY PERCENT of our profits will go back to the library for purchasing new books for the collection. We are SO excited about this!
Please create your child's reader pages over the long weekend and share out to begin collecting donations.
The Read a Thon runs from Monday, Feb. 26th-Friday, Mar. 8th.
